The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) recently used OASIS' new Content Discovery Suite at its annual meeting, where they offered their members an OASIS eBook option for download for the first time, reflecting a landmark achievement in member-accessible content on the digital channel. SfN offered eBook downloads in addition to their traditional print formats to distribute the scientific content of their meeting, held October 17-21, 2009 in Chicago. The SfN annual meeting, one of the largest scientific meetings in the world, featured 16,000 abstracts and five daily program books with more than 1,000 sessions, all of which were accessible on the Amazon Kindle, Sony Reader, and Apple iPhone.
