The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) has used OASIS' new Content Discovery Suite at its Annual Meeting, where they offer their members an OASIS eBook option.  This was first done in 2009, reflecting a landmark achievement in member-accessible content on the "digital channel."  SfN offers eBook downloads in addition to their traditional print formats to distribute the scientific content of their meeting. The SfN Annual Meeting, one of the largest scientific meetings in the world, typically features 16,000 abstracts and five daily program books with more than 1,000 sessions, all of which were accessible on the Amazon Kindle, Sony Reader, and Apple iPhone.
